One voice for CTE leaders, programs, and students across Texas.
CTAT works year-round to elevate career and technical education, track policy decisions that affect CTE, and connect members with the tools they need to advocate for strong programs in every community.
CTE connects classrooms to careers.
Career and Technical Education gives students relevant academic knowledge, employability skills, technical training, and early access to college credit, certificates, and associate degree pathways. These programs are delivered in high schools, career centers, magnet campuses, community colleges, and technical colleges—and they are essential to Texas’ workforce and economic future.
Advocacy in action.
Before each Texas legislative session, CTAT members identify CTE policies and laws that are ready for improvement, then help shape priorities that strengthen programs, funding, and student opportunity.
CTAT monitors policy, equips members, and builds support for high-quality CTE programs that prepare students for college, careers, and military readiness.
