The CTE District of Distinction program is a designation for school districts with robust, high-quality CTE programs that meet the needs of students, local communities, and employers. Selected districts serve as models of excellence, showcasing best practices and driving progress in CTE statewide.
- Eligibility and Criteria: Districts of all sizes are encouraged to apply. The application process, eligibility requirements, and evaluation criteria are designed to highlight excellence in CTE programs. At least one CTE Administrator from the district must be a member of CTAT in order to apply for CTE District of Distinction. Please only complete one application per district.
- Designation: Districts that qualify will receive state-level recognition through CTAT’s communication channels and will be presented with materials to display at their district. This designation is timed to coincide with CTE Month, offering an excellent opportunity to celebrate with your community and school board.
- Sharing Best Practices: Selected districts will have the opportunity to share best practices, innovative approaches, and success stories with the larger CTE community, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

- Application fee: $800 annually (refundable if district does not qualify)
