CCMR and A-F Public School Accountability
CTE programs have a significant impact on district ratings under the student achievement domain CCMR indicators. CTAT performs audits and provides recommendations to improve ratings in the following areas.
- Dual credit hours in workforce certificate and associate of applied science degree programs
- Industry-based certificates earned through CTE Programs of Study
- Graduates that complete a Program of Study aligned to state-approved course sequences
CTAT provides professional development associated with the student achievement domain including College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) indicators. In program evaluations, recommendations are made to increase dual credit opportunities, graduates earning a level I or level II certificate in workforce education areas and graduates earning industry based certifications. Programs of study are checked for alignment to TEA-approved course sequences to ensure students are on track to earn completion status as outlined in HB 773 passed in the Texas 87th legislative session.
